Two Year Old Getting To Know His New Sister - Louisville Newborn Photography - Louisville KY

This momma called me several weeks before she was due with their second baby. They were living up north and about to make a huge move to this area right before her due date! Changing anything when you're about to deliver a baby is tough, but GOODNESS!

They got moved safely just in time for this sweet girl to make her appearance!

When you're two, you need a little encouragement to touch your sister!

It is just as important to me that your toddler is comfortable as it is that your newborn is comfortable. If your toddler or older kiddo is nervous about holding or touching the new baby, that's totally normal! They have lots happening in their little worlds. Let's be easy on them and make sure they're happy too!!

The eye contact with this little one was AMAZING.

Still haven't booked your Fall or Winter baby? Let's chat!

Two Month Squish

In the last post I mentioned Milestone sessions and how I have recently fallen in love with them. This guy came to me at 2 months, and he was an absolute dream baby! I don't typically expect sleepy babies for milestones, but when it's looking like it's going that way, we roll with it! I am so in love with the results! I could not have planned it any better!! Look at all of these expressions!

winter babies

Winter is tough, guys. The illnesses flying through the air make me a paranoid mess! I am a germaphobe by nature, so hearing about the flu, RSV, pertussis, etc makes me queasy. I have bottles of hand sanitizer ALL.OVER.MY.LIFE. trying to combat the nasties.

Some of my winter babies are reaching me outside of that early 14 days and THAT'S OKAY!! Please, KEEP THEM HOME. Although my studio is germ-free and I am vaccinated against flu and pertussis, it is important to me that you feel safe bringing your babe out of the house.

This sweet girl was four weeks old and she ROCKED her session! I think I saw her eyes one time, and then it was off to Snoozetown.

Don't be afraid to contact me for your older newborn's session. No judgement here! We'll make it work!
