Look at me blogging a session 😂😉

Some of my favorite parent images came from this session. Actually, I love them so much that I have decided to change my whole business around and will no longer be offering mini newborn sessions 😛 

 My mini newborn session only offered 30 minutes of shooting with the baby, it didn't offer sibling poses, and it didn't offer parent poses. I've decided that's just not an option. Even if you as a parent doesn't want to "be" in pictures, we can absolutely incorporate you in some way (holding hands, holding feet, squeezing a finger, etc.). Don't want your face in them? NO WORRIES! I will absolutely make it work to your comfort level. But I don't think it's an option to just not be in them anymore. You are there. You are their person. They deserve to have you in the first portraits they have, and you have worked so hard for this baby. You deserve to be celebrated just as much as your baby is being celebrated.

One would think this Little Miss has never met me before by the way she acts at the beginning of each photo shoot!! I have been doing her portraits since she was barely 2lbs, we've celebrated all of her milestones together, we've celebrated birthdays together, and we've even vacationed together! Still, put the two of us in a park with a camera and she looses her sweet little mind 😆

Much to her dismay, a few tears at the beginning will not make me go away. I'm here for life, kiddo!

This family won one of my donated sessions from the silent auction that Roo's Wish hosted last Spring! All of the proceeds went to help the journey of foster children in Louisville and surrounding areas. The momma worked with my mom at an amazing non-profit here in Louisville, she is a good friend of another good friend of mine, I shot a session of theirs YEARS ago when the kiddos were little bitty, her daughter is a Girl Scout in my troop, AND she humored me and took on a role of co-leader this year! These are seriously some awesome people right here and they are incredibly easy to photograph!
