Abby + Joe

I worked with this stunning bride for almost 10 years! When she asked me to be her wedding photographer, I can't tell you how excited I was!! After meeting with the happy couple, I was positive this day was going to be gorgeous, and I couldn't wait for it to all unfold.

To make the event even sweeter, she chose UK blue as her color :)

My favorite part of every wedding is watching everyone get the bride ready! Abby had a great group of girls!!

He told me he always feels awkward when posing for pictures. He certainly didn't look awkward!!!

I love when I can tell a couple to jump up in a window and they don't question me on my judgement!!

Lights and Shadows: A photographer's dream!

It had just finished pouring down rain! So glad it stopped!!!

A wedding selfie!!!

I was *so* in love with her flowers, and that ring set is absolutely stunning.

I love this guy!!!

One more shot to end the night! They made it a good one!!!

Congratulations, Abby and Joe! I can't wait to work with you guys on your next adventure!

Cheers!

Megan

Floating lanterns? Yes.

Early in July, I was contacted by a mother-of-the-bride who was to be married that same month. She had taken on the task of finding and hiring the photographer for the wedding. She found me through my oh-so-awesome hubby with whom she worked and, with that, we had a date :)

I cannot even begin to express how magical this evening was. You could seriously *feel* their love for one another. With a fabulous sense of humor from everyone involved, a close knit group of family and friends, a spectacular country venue, and some gorgeous color choices to tie it all together, we had a wedding. A wedding that I was proud to be a part of.

Their ceremony was held in this amazing garden, where the sun fell perfectly behind the house.

It was just a tad warm out there!

They were SO much fun!!!

Did I mention how much fun these two were? Because they were REALLY fun!!

They thought long and hard about it...

And then this happened!

For each guest at the wedding, a donation was made to Jill's Wish, an organization helping families minimize their financial struggle while they battle cancer. And that in the picture would be Jill :)

Floating lanterns. Yes. In every way. Just yes. GORGEOUS.

Congratulations!! And thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
